Capital Bank presents $25,000 to U.S. veteran

Captain Patrick Brozowski winner of Capital Bank’s Buyer’s Program Prize

Raleigh, N.C. — Nov. 5, 2009 — Capital Bank will present a $25,000 check to Patrick Brozowski that will be applied to the purchase price of a home from Capital Bank´s Buyers Program at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 9 at Capital Bank Plaza in Raleigh. Brozowski, a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard and former U.S. Marine, is the winner of a drawing Capital Bank held at the opening of the new Holly Springs and west Cary branches during October to promote Capital Bank´s Home Buyer´s Program.

“As we approach Veterans Day, we are proud to present $25,000 to Patrick towards the cost of his recently purchased new home in Angier which he will close on later this month,” said B. Grant Yarber, president and CEO of Capital Bank. “All Americans are indebted to the service of our men and women in uniform across our state, nation and world and are thrilled to see Captain Brozowski win the prize.”

Brozowski is a captain for the Military Police in the North Carolina Army National Guard and will be joined by his fellow National Guard and U.S. Marine friends at the presentation by Capital Bank on Nov. 9, which also is one day shy of the 234th birthday of the Marine Corps.
