Capital Bank Completes Acquisition of Branches

Footprint now covers Fayetteville market

Raleigh, NC - Dec. 17, 2008 - Capital Bank has completed the acquisition of the four Fayetteville area branches of Omni National Bank into Capital Bank, bringing a broad array of products and services to customers in Fayetteville. On Monday, the new signage was in place at the four branches and all were seamlessly converted to Capital Bank's operating systems.

The branches are located at 225 Green Street, 929 South McPherson Church Road and 4841 Ramsey Street in Fayetteville and 88 North Fayetteville Street in Parkton. The new office hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

Capital Bank will honor Omni National Bank checks and deposit slips until Feb. 13, 2009. New bank cards and ATM cards have already been mailed to all customers. Deposit and loan account numbers should remain the same for most customers.
