New Capital Bank Location Gains Branch Manager

Wanda Markuson takes helm of Capital Bank's Clayton branch

Raleigh, NC - Nov. 5, 2008 - Capital Bank has named Wanda Markuson branch manager and vice president of the Capital Bank branch in Clayton, which will celebrate its grand opening next month. Markuson joins Capital Bank after serving the Clayton market for over 26 years in banking. She will be responsible for the loan and deposit growth of the new branch.

"With Wanda's depth of experience and knowledge of this community, we are confident in the high-level of service she´ll bring to our customers in Clayton, one of the fastest-growing areas of the Triangle," said B. "The opening of our newest branch comes on the heels of our announcement to acquire four banking offices in Fayetteville, a testament to our strong growth in otherwise unsteady economic conditions."

A life-long Clayton resident, Markuson serves as treasurer on the board of directors for the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Clayton and a member of Baptist Center Church.
