Capital Bank Names New Commercial Relationship Manager

Bank welcomes Vice President Anthony Cobb in Wake Forest

Raleigh, NC - May 5, 2008 -Capital Bank has named Anthony Cobb as Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager. Cobb joins the bank after serving the local market in Wake County for over ten years and will be based in Capital Bank´s Wake Forest branch.

"With Anthony´s depth of experience and knowledge of this banking market, we are confident he will greatly contribute to the quality of service we provide here in Wake Forest," said Todd Warrick, Senior Vice President and North Wake Community Executive. "His background in commercial lending and strong experience in various commercial services will be a strong addition to Capital Bank."

Cobb is originally from Windsor, N.C. and received his degree in business from Mount Olive College. He is also a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking and completed Leadership Wake Forest. Cobb is the current chair of the fundraising committee for Boy Scouts of America and also serves on financial committees for the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club serving Wake County.
