Capital Bank Associate Receives Award of Excellence

Hickory-Catawba Valley HBA honors Barbara Cole

Hickory, N.C. - March 20, 2008 - The Hickory-Catawba Valley Homebuilder's Association named Capital Bank's Barbara Cole this year´s Award of Excellence recipient. The award is presented annually to one associate member and one builder member. Barbara is a Life Director for the Homebuilders Association and has been a member for over twenty-one years, currently serving as Treasurer. Winners are selected by a vote of fellow association members. "While every award is special, there is added meaning when you are honored by your peers," remarked Cole.

Barbara has been with Capital Bank for over seven years and has worked in the banking industry for thirty-three years. She is a member of the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors and was named Associate of the Year in 2004. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Guidance Center in Hickory. She and her husband, Mike, live in Hickory.
