Chad Steadman Named to Stevens Center Board of Directors

Sanford, NC – April 30, 2007 – Chad Steadman, Commercial Relationship Manager for Capital Bank was recently invited to join the board of directors for The Stevens Center in Sanford.

“With all the opportunities to serve in a community, it would be hard to find an organization more deserving and personally rewarding as working with the Stevens Center board,” said Steadman.  “It gives me great pleasure to support this organization and to represent Capital Bank in this community.”

The mission of The Stevens Center is to provide people living with disabilities the opportunity to pursue their dreams as part of the community.  The center is a 15,500 square foot multi-purpose facility designed to support the Stevens Foundation in meeting its mission and is located at 1576 Kelly Drive in Sanford.  In 2005, the Stevens Center was the recipient of the Arc of NC 2005 Inclusive Community Award.
