Capital Bank Partners with Asheville Tourists
Bank to sponsor fan appreciation program

Raleigh, NC – April 25, 2007 - Capital Bank continues to show their support of the communities they serve by partnering with the Asheville Tourists minor league baseball team for the Mega Money Mondays promotion. 

“As a community bank, we are as dedicated to people as we are to banking,” said Al Davis, Senior Vice President for the Asheville region of Capital Bank. “The Tourists bring great entertainment to the area, and we’re very excited to be able to offer this promotion for the fans in Asheville.”

Starting on Monday, April 30th, every Monday night home game this season, the first 500 adults to come through the gates will receive an envelope assigned a lucky number containing anywhere between $1 and $100 in cash. Additionally, every half-inning through the first six innings of the game, Capital Bank will give away a $50 savings bond and in the seventh inning, a lucky number will be drawn and the winner will receive a $300 Capital Bank savings bond.
