Capital Bank Names New City Executive for Asheville

Asheville, NC – April 3, 2007 - Capital Bank has named Al Davis as Senior Vice President and Asheville City Executive.  Davis has been an active part of the Asheville business community for 10 years serving in such capacities as Wealth Services Team Leader, Private Banking Manager, Senior Banking Executive, and Business Banker. Davis will be responsible for Capital Bank’s operations and business development in Asheville and Buncombe County.

“Capital Bank has such a strong commitment to the communities they serve, and it is such a great opportunity for me to join the organization,” said Davis.  “I look forward to working with the outstanding team of professionals at Capital Bank.” Davis received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.  He is a community leader with the UNC Asheville Foundation, United Way, Asheville Parks & Greenways Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
